Riverside County Carnival – Volunteer Job Description

We’re looking for passionate, community-minded volunteers (ages 16+) to help bring this vibrant event to life. Whether you’re an adult looking to give back or a high school student seeking to complete your 30 hours of community service, this is your chance to make a real impact while having a ton of fun.
Volunteer Responsibilities Include:
As a volunteer, you’ll play a flexible and essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the carnival. Responsibilities may include assisting guests at the gates, checking tickets, guiding parking lot traffic, welcoming and supporting vendors and sponsors, helping maintain cleanliness and safety, coordinating entertainment logistics, running errands for event staff, and providing general event support wherever needed. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to marketing efforts by sharing event info, taking photos, or capturing content for social media.
Volunteers will rotate through a variety of roles, giving everyone a chance to experience the event from multiple angles. Some may assist with hospitality, others might be on-call runners, support safety or security teams, or help entertainers stay on schedule. You’ll be the eyes, ears, and helping hands that keep things running smoothly.
